Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of PaaloQ, a doctor-queue and waiting-time tracking service for clinics in Nepal. By using the app or service, you agree to them.

1. What PaaloQ does

PaaloQ shows your position in a clinic's queue, an estimated time range for your turn, and guidance on when to leave. The queue itself is run by the clinic and its staff. PaaloQ reflects what the clinic enters — it does not control the actual order of care, how fast a doctor works, or when a doctor arrives.

2. Estimated turn times are for reference only — a condition of using PaaloQ

The estimated time for your turn, the "leave now" guidance, and every countdown or position shown in the app are approximate predictions for your convenience. They can and do change, and they will never be exact. Your actual turn depends on things outside PaaloQ's control — how long each patient takes, when the doctor arrives, emergencies, and how the clinic runs its queue.

By using PaaloQ you acknowledge and agree that:

• An estimated time is not a promise or guarantee that you will be seen at that time, earlier, or later.
• To the fullest extent permitted by law, you will not hold PaaloQ liable, and will not bring any legal claim or case, over any difference between an estimated time and your actual turn, or over any wait, missed turn, or timing discrepancy.
• You remain responsible for being reachable and present when the clinic calls your token; treat every estimate as a rough guide, not an appointment.

If you do not accept this, please do not use the app. Accepting it is a condition of use.

3. Not medical advice, not for emergencies

• PaaloQ does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
• In a medical emergency, do not rely on the app. Go to a hospital or contact local emergency services immediately.

4. Your account

• You log in with your phone number and a PIN. Keep your PIN private; you are responsible for activity on your account.
• Provide accurate information, and use one account for yourself (family members can be added as profiles under your account).
• Do not attempt to obtain multiple tokens dishonestly, disrupt a clinic's queue, or interfere with the service or other users.

5. Availability

We aim to keep the service reliable, but it is provided "as is" and may be unavailable, interrupted, or delayed — for example during maintenance, clinic internet outages, or events beyond our control. Clinic staff remain the source of truth for the queue.

6. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, PaaloQ is not liable for missed turns, waiting times, timing or estimate discrepancies, clinic decisions, or medical outcomes. The app is a convenience tool to reduce waiting, not a substitute for the clinic's own processes.

7. Changes to the service and these terms

We may update the service and these terms. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms. The "Last updated" date above reflects the current version.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Nepal.
